POS Quick Billing at Counter Speed

Step-by-step guide

   Open the POS screen

   Tap "POS Billing" from the main menu or use the shortcut on the home screen. The POS interface is optimised for speed with a product grid on the left and a running cart on the right. Ensure your screen brightness is up for barcode scanning.

   Add items using the product grid or barcode

   Tap any product tile to add it to the cart, or tap the barcode icon and scan the product barcode with your phone camera. The item is added instantly with the correct price and tax. Tap the tile again to increase the quantity.

   Adjust quantities and apply item discounts

   Tap any cart item to edit its quantity or apply a line-level discount. You can also type a quantity directly using the number pad. The cart total updates in real time so you and the customer can see the running amount.

   Select the customer (optional)

   For loyal customers, tap "Add Customer" and search by name or phone to link the sale to their account. This updates their ledger, allows you to extend credit, and builds a purchase history that helps with personalised offers.

   Process the payment

   Tap "Charge" and select the payment method — Cash, UPI, Card, or Split (multiple methods). For cash, enter the amount tendered and the app shows the change to return. For UPI, a QR code is displayed that the customer scans with any UPI app.

   Print or share the receipt

   After payment is confirmed, a receipt is generated automatically. Print it on a connected Bluetooth thermal printer, share via WhatsApp, or show a digital receipt on screen. The sale and stock deduction are recorded in the background.
